Bianco porcelain stone is extracted in the mines of Aliguderz city, Lorestan province and it is very similar to Italian samples. Mont Blanc, which is a French word and the name of the highest Alb mountain range, means white mountain, which is called Monte Bianco in Italian, and that’s why they named this stone Bianco.
Bianco porcelain is produced and supplied in different sizes of tiles, longitudinal and slabs.
Features of Bianco porcelain stone
Bianco porcelain has a white background with fine and irregular streaks in gray color, some of which have yellowish cream lines. In some varieties, the white color of the background is more dominant. In some other varieties, wide irregular streaks cover the surface of the stone.
Bianco porcelain has a high density, which has made it highly sandable, and the higher the quality of the polishers used, the more polished the stone will be. This stone is brittle.
